The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through isO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been non-governmental,inliaisonwithIsO,alsotakepartinthework.IsOcollaboratescloselywiththe International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
