However, it is developing rapidly in recent years. It is not only a theoretical problem but also a practical problem how to accelerate the development and enhance the competitiveness of the bankcard industry in our country. From the point of our view, there are things that must be done in the following aspects in order to accelerate the development of the bankcard industry in our country. 1. we must understand the actual situation of the bankcard industry in our country correctlyandclearly; 2. we need to create our own national bankcard brands ; 3.each organization issuing bank cards needs to improve the competitiveness of its bankcards; 4.we must accelerate the development of credit card business; 5.we must improve the core competitiveness of our bankcard industry; 6. we must improve the environment of our bankcard industry; 7. we must set up appropriate pricing mechanisms in our bankcard market, especially the interchange fee pricing mechanism as the core of the bankcard pricing system. 8. we must build and complete the law of the development for our bankcard industry. The study methods of dialectic materialism are used in this thesis. Meanwhile, historical materialism guides our investigation to the market development and policy changing of our bankcard industry. We combine the normative analysis and positive market structure, central competitiveness, environment, characteristics, and interchange fee etc, but also makes positive research based on the development of our bankcard industry, including the positive analysis to the behaviors of our credit card users and the market structure of our bankcard industry.
