This standard replaces HG/T 2888-1997 Rubber Household Gloves. In comparison with HG/T 2888-1997, the main changes in this standard are as follows: -Regarding the specifications and dimensions, the relevant dimensional indicators are amended and the tolerance range of the size of glove is added (see Table. 2); - Words “elongation at rupture" are changed to “"elongation at break" (see Table 3, 6.3.2); - The schematic diagram on the measurement of the size of glove is added (Fig. 1); - The water filling amount of glove is amended (Table. 4). This standard is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Sub-Commission on Latex Articles of the National Technical Committeeon Rubber &Products of Standardization Administrationof China (SAC/TC35/SC4). Scope This standard specifies the sampling, selection of test pieces, requirements, test methods as well as logos,packaging,transport and storage of household rubber gloves.The safe and proper use of gloves is not covered in this standard.
